About the brand
A joint venture between Reliance Retail and GrandVision, Vision Express is Europe’s largest optical retailer with a global network presence of over 6000 stores across 44 countries. In India, Vision Express is present across 167 stores in 30 cities.

Challenges:

The brand had minimal to no presence online.

  • While the brand was a joint collaboration, customers were still unaware of the brand
  • The minimal online presence they had given out a very clinical vibe which was unappealing to their TG
  • While pricing was reasonable, since the brand was fairly unknown, customers would rather opt for brands that they were aware of with the same pricing

While their website relied on online booking appointments for store footfalls, people were opting for home eye tests which were direct competition to the brand
Brand USPs like superior quality and technology were not known to the general masses.

What we offered:

Create a brand presence on social media.
Objective: the brand wanted their presence to be mature and knowledgable as experts in eye care.
While most of the competition took to being fashion oriented and youthful, Vision Express was positioned as experts in eye care which were mature and serious about delivering quality eye care
Social media handles for the brand were portrayed in the same tone through content & imagery. Through a strong content strategy, social media messaging featured around creating brand awareness that was engaging and informative to followers.

The Website

We have changed the framework of the Vision Express site from aspx.net framework to PHP framework that allows a customized CMS and backend database. We have made it more simple and easy to understand/use the site.
Through our SEO strategy on the new site, we were able to increase organic traffic by more than 55% over a course of 6 months. Through intensive content planning and keyword analysis, PAN India organic leads increased by 30%

Landing pages

For paid campaigns, we regularly create landing pages for our clients like this one for Reliance Vision Express Buy One Get One offer while executing online campaigns. This helps us track the effectiveness of our campaigns making them measurable. The landing pages are device responsive so they work on desktop as well as mobile devices which include Android and IOS and all the latest versions of major browsers on these devices.

Vision Express Catalogue App

We’ve designed a catalogue application for Reliance Vision Express.
The catalogue is for a premium spectacle lens series called the Monaco Collection that is being used at all Vision Express outlets to showcase the product to customers. This application was used by 167 stores across India.
